A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.

Essence of life (summary of The Bhagawad Gita)

(Translated to English)

Whatever happened, it happened for good.
Whatever is happening, is happening for good.
Whatever will happen, will be for the good.

What have you lost for which you cry ?
What did you bring, which you have lost ?
What did you produce, that was destroyed ?

You did not bring anything when you were born.
Whatever you have, you have received from Him.
Whatever you give, you will give to Him.

You came empty handed and you will return the same way.

Whatever is yours today was somebody else's yesterday and will be somebody else's tomorrow.

Change is the law of the universe.
